"I needed to replace an old pellet stove with a new woodstove and went to the shop in Soldotna. They had a good selection and I found one I wanted. The lady in the shop was very friendly and took my details so a sales rep could call me to discuss price and install.
2 hrs later Jim called me and he was very helpful. I needed the stove installed with short notice and he made it happen. He send a tech out the day after to inspect the chimney we had before install so we would know what parts we needed. Mike from their Homer Officer arrived as promised and did a thorough inspection. He explained everything to me in layman terms and it made me feel very comfortable with what they suggested. (chimney pipe replacement). It was not an upsell but simply the right way to do it.
Mike was also the tech who installed our new stove and chimney a few days later. He arrived on time in the morning and did the install. He had brought 1 wrong part so he called Jim from the Homer Office who promptly came out with the right part and made sure the install was completed to our satisfaction.
Overall a very positive experience. Dealing with specialized crafts can sometimes be intimidating for "regular" people and when heat/fire is involved there is a safety aspect to it but both Mike and Jim made the entire process smooth and comfortable.
Will use again next time I need anything with heat/fire/chimney.
